Introduction
Welcome to our website! We are the Research Institute for the Care of Older People (RICE) charity. The purpose of this website is to to help us publicise our research and fundraising events. Our main aims include:
- research into the ageing process
- and to offer help and support to people and their families who have Alzheimer's disease and other memory problems.
The research carried out by the Institute covers a wide variety of areas and is intended to advance the knowledge and treatment of the more serious conditions affecting older people and to improve their quality of life.
The Institute is a Registered Charity. Registered Charity Number 1042559. It was opened in 1986 by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent.
