How You Can Help
RICE relies on voluntary donations to support our research, our Community Memory Screening Clinics and Carers' courses.
If you and your friends and family would like to get involved in fundraising for RICE, we would love to hear from you.

You could help in any of the following ways:
- Volunteering opportunies at RICE
- Take part in a RICE Challenge Event using event organisers Skyline
- Just using Everyclick.com as your search engine - save it to your favourites!

- Make a donation
- Print off the donation form or send a cheque (payable to RICE) to Freepost Plus RRSL-RJLZ-RGYJ, The RICE Centre, Royal United Hospital, BATH, BA1 3NG. - Donate online using CAF(Charities Aid Foundation)
- Buy RICE Christmas Cards this year or order personalised cards
- Sell items online with eBay for Charity and help support RICE.

- Hold a coffee morning, barn dance, sponsored event, run the London Marathon, sit in a bath of cold beans or custard(!!) the list is endless.
- If you and your friends and family have ideas about any events, let us know and we can provide leaflets, sponsorship forms and help with publicity.
- To make fundraising easier use the justgiving website with pages dedicated to RICE. You can use it to create fundraising pages to email to your family and friends including gifts in memory
- Support the Friends of RICE
- If you live in the Bath area, why not become a member of the Friends of RICE?
- Throughout the year, the Friends run all sorts of fundraising activities including bridge drives, RICE stand at local fairs, raffles, street collections and coffee mornings.
- As well as helping to raise funds for RICE, it is a great way to meet new people.
- Ask your church to hold a coffee morning or collection for RICE. We can provide leaflets and publicity information about RICE's work. - Get your company involved
- Why not talk to your work colleagues about raising funds for RICE?
- Does your company have a charity policy?
- Do your staff have the opportunity to give through GAYE (Give As You Earn)?
- RICE would love to talk to you about the many opportunities there are for you and your company to support our work. - Leave a legacy to RICE in your Will
- What better way to ensure that RICE can continue to provide support, care and the best quality of life for older people?

- We have a list of solicitors who have experience in the needs of older clients.
- This includes solicitors who are on the Solicitors for the Elderly website and those who have given advice to carer's attending the RICE Carers course.

- RICE needs healthy people over the age of 60 to help with a variety of projects concerned with normal ageing.
- This includes investigations into new and current medication, laboratory studies, a fitness programme and development of appropriate aids and appliances for the home and garden.
- If you have free time and want to get involved, please let us know. - Join the RICE 300 Club
- For an annual donation of £12 (£1 a month) you will entered in the monthly draw to win a cash prize.
- Send a cheque for £12 made payable to RICE, write 300 club on reverse or fill in a standing order form.
