Dementia Challenge Conference
Published on 29/05/2012On Tuesday 29th May, Professor Roy Jones is speaking at the NHS South of England Dementia Challenge conference at the Royal Berkshire Conference centre in Reading.
It is being held in response to the PM’s challenge on dementia, to focus on:
- Driving improvements in health and care
- Creating dementia-friendly communities that understand how to help
- Better research
Professor Jones, as RICE Director and Dementia Research Director for DeNDRoN, has been invited to make the keynote presentation on better research and how NHS South of England can rise to the challenge. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
Also presenting on Care in Acute Hospitals is RICE Chairman of the Trustees Dr Chris Dyer, Consultant Geriatrician at the Royal United Hospital.
