
The RICE Centre is on the site of the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath. We have a small car park that you’re welcome to use when you visit, subject to availability. There are two disabled bays in the car park. Download a map of the hospital site below:
Getting to us by car – Penn Hill Road:
The nearest entrance to RICE is on Penn Hill Road. Turn into the RUH site (speed limit 10mph) and continue down the road passing the turning to car park P3 on your left.
There are ‘no entry signs’, as you pass the first car park, but you are allowed through! RICE is well signposted – follow the arrows and turn right at the end of the road.
At the barrier press the button marked “RICE”. We will raise the barrier to let you through. Look out for the ‘RICE car park’ sign and turn left into the car park. There is a second barrier with a button: press the button and we’ll raise the barrier.
Getting to us by car – Combe Park entrance:
Turn into the RUH site and take the second exit (right) on the mini roundabout. Continue to the top of the road then turn left following signs for the RICE Centre.
Ignore the ‘no entry’ signs and turn right at the end of the road. At the barrier press the button marked “RICE”. We will raise the barrier: carry on down the road When you see a sign saying ‘RICE car park, turn left in front of the sign. Press the call button on the intercom and we will raise the barrier to let you in.
Getting to us on foot – RUH main entrance:
Head to the end of the Atrium (to the left of the coffee bar)
Turn right then left (towards RUH west/ Friends coffee shop) and walk straight ahead
Just past the lifts is a sign for the RICE Centre: turn left here.
Continue to the end of the corridor and go outside
Head right towards the path, then left towards the staff car park, go through the staff car park, following the RICE signs and the RICE Centre is on the right
