Regular free seasonal activities and events hosted by RICE for patients affected by a memory problem or dementia, along with their loved ones. Come and connect with others at our friendly, creative and casual events!
These free activities are designed for people living with a mild to moderate memory condition, including Mild Cognitive Impairment and dementia. Join in to meet with others in a similar position and engage in a variety of exciting activities. Only twenty spaces are available per session, so make sure to get in contact if you are interested in attending.


Autumn and Winter Events
Mondays 2pm–4pm: Lived Experience Advisory Panel
The Lived Experience Advisory Panel, or LEAP, is a chance for people with a memory problem and/or carers to shape RICE’s service. The group will meet every two months to collaborate, advise and inform on many aspects of our work.
Multiple dates: Chat, Make and Move Programme
A 10-week programme of activities to boost wellbeing. Sessions will include gentle movement, top tips from expert guest speakers as well as learning new creative, craft and music skills.
January Tues 16th 10.30am-12 noon: Holburne Museum Visit, Wedgewood Inspired
Join us for a visit and creative making session at the Holburne Museum. We will take a tour of iconic Wedgwood tableware to learn more about its history before creating collage, mixed media, and craft inspired by its distinctive designs.
February Thurs 8th 10.30am-12 noon: Holburne Museum Visit, Japanese Inspired
Join us for a visit and creative making session at the Holburne Museum. You can look forward to exploring the museum and learning about the wonderful Japanese inspired objects in Holburne’s collection. We will then enjoy making our own decorative lanterns, working with traditional rice and origami papers to create beautiful details.
