We have designed a course specifically for carers of someone with dementia, to introduce them to a range of support services and advice.
At RICE our dementia course for carers consists of a one-day event held at the RICE centre in Bath. Several expert speakers are invited to present on important topics and then carers are given the chance to ask questions. The topics often include legal tips for carers, local services available and learning more about dementia as a disease.
The course for carers also offers an opportunity to connect and form friendships with people in a similar situation. These courses are free and run regularly through the year. Call us on 01225 476420 for more information.
